SEATTLE, WA — As is the rite of passage, a trans woman arrived at her apartment this evening, only to find a group of people standing in her living room, a collar in each hand.
Delilah, 22, was heading home from her shift at Subway when she noticed the door was slightly ajar. She cautiously entered her house, fearing the worst, until she discovered the group patiently waiting for her.
“They all had collars and animal ears on,” she told the Post-Gender Post on Friday. “Some even had paw gloves. I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first.”
She then said that the group insisted she must make a choice between the two collar types, and to wind up a catgirl or puppygirl. Some even went so far as to demand she meow for them, or called her a good girl to gauge her reaction.
As these ritual events usually go, it didn’t take long for a decision to be made, as Delilah shyly accepted a pink collar with a star bell. Whimpers could be heard from the puppygirls as she joined the ranks of her fellow cats.
“I think I always sort of knew I wanted to be a cat,” she said after the fact, her focus never leaving a random corner of her ceiling. “I’ve never been a furry, but I dabbled in the Warrior Cats series when I was younger.”
Sorry, puppygirls. The cats have claimed another. The next meetup is in four days at Amelia’s house, if you’re available to make it. We’re pretty sure she’s one of you, if her private Discord messages are anything to base it off of.
